Exciting News!!

Hi, everyone! Wow, what a week for SuperNoots! Where do I start? How about with the most important and exciting feedback we've received to date... feedback from kids! A young teenage girl who talked with Victoria at the expo emailed us to tell us she loved the chart and couldn't wait to go shopping for her food. As for me, I was stopped in Target today by a very cool lady, who bought a chart for her 12-year old neice (she recognized me from the expo). She told me her neice was loving SuperNoots and eating foods she had never eaten before. Wow!

What's amazing about these comments is that Victoria and I are reaching an age we weren't sure would be receptive to us, but turns out, tweens are really responding to the whole empowerment thing we've been preaching about! If we give our kids ownership over something, they're going to do just that... own it. And that's what we want our kids to do when it comes to eating healthy, OWN IT!!!

Also, Victoria and I are going to be on TV. A local news show, 'Style: A Show for You,' is filming us on Tuesday morning, but I'm not sure if we'll be on that day or not. We're glad Michele Silva and Moira Kaye decided to feature us. We weren't sure after I stalked them and hunted them down at the expo (would you believe after I made a fool of myself, shamelessly peddling SuperNoots, I forgot my business card to give them!). Thank you, Michele and Moira for giving this crazy girl a chance!

Another huge happening... we received an email today from Stacy Julian. Apparently, this gorgeous lady (you should see her picture) is the 'Scrapbooking Queen!' You have GOT to see her website (http://www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com/), and whether you are a scrapbooker or not, you will be amazed at how she makes scrapbooking a spiritual experience. Anyway, she saw our website, and she loved SuperNoots, even bought one for her son! After including us in her blog, we received 2 orders within the hour that she posted it. Can you believe that? Queen, I tell you! Thank you SO much, Stacy!

That's all for now. Victoria is busy doing little house chores since TV crews will be busting down her door on Tuesday. I'll let her tell you about the whole filming experience.

The blogging begins... for Lori

...as in the first time ever! Yes, it's true, I'm blogging for the first time, and Victoria was right... it's just like writing to a friend. So, you're reading this, which means you probably know a thing or two about SuperNoots. I think I can speak for Victoria when I say this whole experience has been nothing short of FANTASTIC! The best part is now, though, because feedback is coming in, and we are enjoying hearing from all of you. Please let us know what you think about things. Victoria and I are pretty good listeners, and after immersing ourselves in SuperNoots stuff for so long, we also have an opinion on just about anything to do with food period. So, send us your thoughts, compliments, complaints... we can take it! I enjoyed writing to you, thanks for reading! -Lori

Just wanted to share.....

Well, the Women Today Expo was fabulous! Lori and I met some amazing moms and kids who were really excited about SuperNoots. One sweet girl in particular really has stuck with me and I think she is going to have great success with her SuperNoots Starter Pack.

Lori and I (mostly Lori!) will be doing workshops and mini-seminars for several of the fitness and nutritions programs, health fairs and mom groups over the next few weeks. If you think you might be interested in setting something up, then please let us know!
The Expo has really re-energized our mission and original reason for creating SuperNoots....we want to continue sending out that message of creating healthy eating habits for life.

The next post will be from Lori so you don't get tired of listening to just me!
Thanks again for the very nice comments.

Yeah, we made it!

SuperNoots has made its grand debut at the Women Today Expo! Lori was talking with a customer and got her picture taken for the News-Sentinel. I had a little mini-interview with one of the local TV shows. The feedback for SuperNoots in just the three hours the Expo has been open has been phenomenal so far. We are so excited! If you are in the Knoxville area, then please stop by the Expo to see us. Lori will be doing a short presentation at the Knox Moms booth Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and we will be here through Sunday.
Come visit us and after the Expo we'll post some pictures of our fun weekend!
Thanks for the support!
